Receding Night

from $279.00

“Receding night” was inspired by a morning I spent photographing a grove of Bristlecone pine trees in Great Basin National Park. As I waited for the sun to rise, I watched the light move down the trees as the shadows receded. I wanted to capture the moment as the night becomes morning. “Receding Night” was painted in 2023 and is painted with tones of teals, Blues, and oranges.
