Glowing Mesa
“Glowing Mesa” was inspired by an afternoon walk in Virgin Utah. As the sun was going down, one of the mesas of the surrounding landscape caught the fading light just right. It inspired me to go home and recreate the scene on canvas. I wanted to capture the light radiating across the valley and striking the mesa, making it glow.
