Kolob Fingers

$4,000.00

“Kolob Fingers” was inspired by an afternoon in the Kolob Canyons of Zion National Park. The formation of the fingers caught the afternoon light in such a way that took my breath away. I wanted to paint the intensity of the light, along with the contrasting deep shadows. I also thought it was important that the clouds moved across the sky with sharp fast horizontal strokes creating a feeling of motion and life to the painting.
